Chiseled Bookshelf

The Chiseled Bookshelf is a storage block that allows players to store and retrieve Books, Enchanted Books, and Written Books. It is crafted using 6 Planks of any type and 3 Wooden Slabs in a 3×3 crafting grid. Unlike a Bookshelf, a Chiseled Bookshelf does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

A Chiseled Bookshelf can hold up to six books, which are visually displayed as they are added. Players can place or remove books in any slot, making it useful for organizing bookshelves in libraries, storage rooms, or roleplay builds. Unlike a regular Bookshelf, it does not enhance Enchanting Tables.

A Chiseled Bookshelf can also interact with Redstone components. A Comparator reads how many books are stored, making it useful for secret doors, puzzle mechanisms, or book-based Redstone contraptions. A Chiseled Bookshelf can be mined with any tool, but axes break it the fastest. Unlike a Bookshelf, it does not drop books when broken, making it primarily useful for book storage and Redstone interactions.
