Ender Dragon
Ender Dragon is a giant flying hostile boss mob and the final boss of Minecraft, appearing when first entering the End. It is the largest naturally spawning mob in the game and the only obstacle preventing players from returning to the Overworld until defeated. Killing the Ender Dragon activates the exit portal, allowing players to return home, and spawns end gateways, which provide access to the outer End islands.
Upon death, the Ender Dragon drops 12,000 experience points and generates the Dragon Egg atop the exit portal. If defeated again after being re-summoned, it only drops 500 experience and does not generate another egg.
The Ender Dragon spawns 1 second after a player first enters the End, along with the bedrock exit portal frame. It can be re-summoned by placing four end crystals on the edges of the exit portal, which revives the Ender Crystals atop the obsidian pillars before respawning the dragon.
The Ender Dragon is a hostile boss mob that attacks players by charging at them and spewing corrosive dragon's breath, which lingers on the ground, dealing damage over time. It is invulnerable while perching on the exit portal, where it releases an area-of-effect attack. The dragon is healed by End Crystals, requiring players to destroy them first before dealing significant damage. With high mobility, resistance to many attacks, and a powerful knockback effect, it remains one of the most challenging fights in the game.
