How do I find a seed with a river near spawn?
This page loads the finder pre-set to a river within ~256 blocks of spawn and high ground within ~512. The seeds below already match — copy one and open it on the map, or press Search for a fresh batch.
Why a river valley?
A river gives you water, clay, sugar cane and a boat route from the first day, and the high ground beside it gives you a view and a safe place to build.
How close is the river?
Every result states how far the river is from spawn, in blocks, and marks it on the map. You can change the distance in the Terrain group.
Does this work on Bedrock?
Not yet — river search is Java and Large Biomes only. We measured Bedrock river accuracy and it came in below the bar we publish, so we do not offer it rather than ship a figure we do not trust.
