Loom

The Loom is a utility block used to apply patterns to banners in Minecraft. It provides an easier and more efficient way to customize banners compared to using a Crafting Table. It is also the job site block for shepherd villagers in villages. A Loom is crafted using 2 Planks of any type and 2 String in a 3×3 crafting grid. It also generates naturally in shepherd houses within villages.

To use a Loom, the player must tap on it to open the interface. The left slot holds a banner, the middle slot holds a dye, and the right slot optionally holds a banner pattern for special designs. Selecting a pattern applies it to the banner, consuming the dye but not the pattern if used. A Loom can be mined with any tool, but axes break it the fastest.
