A neutral mob ignores you until you give it a reason not to — and then it fights back, sometimes as a group. There are 17 of them in Bedrock 1.26.51, and Enderman hits hardest at 7 damage. 8 of them can be bred instead of fought, which is usually the better plan: the ones worth provoking are the ones that drop something, and the Attack column is what you are paying for it.
