Abandoned CampMinecraft Biomes and Structures
The Minecraft world in two lists: the biomes the terrain generates as, and the structures generated into it.
There are 112 biomes and structures in Bedrock 1.26.51, in 2 lists: Generated (46), Biomes (66).
How many biomes and structures are in Minecraft?
112 between them in Bedrock 1.26.51 — Biomes is the longer list at 66, Generated the shorter at 46. They are counted separately because they are different kinds of thing, which is what the next question is about. To find either one in a world you are actually playing, use the seed map.
What is the difference between a biome and a structure in Minecraft?
A biome is a region the terrain generates as, with its own weather, blocks and mobs. It has no edge you can point at — it simply becomes a different biome as you walk. A structure is a thing generated into the world at one place: a village, a temple, a fortress, a monument. Every structure generates in a specific set of biomes, which is why the two lists link to each other in both directions.
