Budding Amethyst

Budding Amethyst is a block found within amethyst geodes that grows amethyst clusters over time. It cannot be obtained in Survival mode or moved by pistons, and it is only available via the Creative inventory or commands.

Budding Amethyst naturally generates as part of amethyst geodes, replacing some blocks of amethyst in the innermost layer of the geode. When an amethyst bud is placed on a budding amethyst, it grows through several stages—small, medium, large—until it becomes a fully-grown amethyst cluster that can drop amethyst shards when mined.

Budding Amethyst emits a quiet overlay sound when interacted with and its block-breaking sound when hit by a projectile. It cannot be harvested by mining or with tools enchanted with Silk Touch, and it breaks immediately if pushed by a piston.
