Calcite

Calcite is a white carbonate mineral block used primarily for decoration. It generates naturally in amethyst geodes, forming a layer between smooth basalt and amethyst blocks, and can also be found in stony peaks. Calcite can be mined with any pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. It has lower hardness and blast resistance than stone. Placing it under a note block creates a 'bass drum' sound.
