Clay is primarily used for crafting and smelting. It can be broken into Clay Balls, which can be smelted into Bricks, or smelted whole into Terracotta. Azaleas grown on Clay turn it into Rooted Dirt. Clay also produces flute sounds when placed under Note Blocks.
