Cobblestone Stairs

Cobblestone Stairs are a stone-based variant of stairs, crafted from cobblestone and used for both decoration and practical navigation. They allow players and mobs to ascend and descend heights smoothly without jumping, making them ideal for paths, bases, and underground tunnels.

They can be crafted using 6 cobblestone in a stair-shaped pattern or individually cut from cobblestone using a stonecutter. Cobblestone stairs also naturally generate in structures like strongholds, jungle pyramids, and various village types.

Like other stair blocks, cobblestone stairs can be placed in various orientations, including upside-down and corner configurations. They inherit cobblestone’s rugged texture and are commonly used in medieval-style builds or wherever a weathered, rustic look is desired. They can also be placed under note blocks to produce a “bass drum” sound. A pickaxe is required to collect them when broken.
