Copper Door

Copper Door is a metal door variant that can be opened and closed manually without requiring redstone. It is craftable from copper ingots and generates naturally in trial chambers. Copper doors can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes are the fastest. Unlike iron doors, they can be opened by players, villagers, piglins, wandering traders, and vindicators.

Copper doors are unique because they oxidize over time, changing from their original copper color to exposed, weathered, and finally oxidized. Lightning bolts and axes can remove oxidation, and they can be waxed with honeycomb to prevent further oxidation. In Hard difficulty, zombies and vindicators can break copper doors, making them less secure. However, they can still be controlled with redstone power. Additionally, copper doors can be used as air pockets underwater and in lava since they do not burn.
