Deepslate Copper Ore
Deepslate Copper Ore is a variant of copper ore found deeper underground, replacing stone, andesite, diorite, granite, tuff, and deepslate. It generates naturally in ore veins, with larger formations appearing in dripstone caves.
When mined with a stone pickaxe or better, it drops 2-5 Raw Copper unless a Silk Touch enchantment is used. The Fortune enchantment increases drops, with Fortune III yielding up to 20 Raw Copper. Smelting Deepslate Copper Ore produces Copper Ingots, which are used to craft blocks of copper, spyglasses, and lightning rods. Unlike copper blocks, Deepslate Copper Ore does not oxidize over time. Additionally, placing it under a note block produces a bass drum sound.
