Exposed Copper Bulb

Exposed Copper Bulb is a partially oxidized variant of the copper bulb that emits slightly less light than its unoxidized form. It functions the same as any copper bulb—toggling between on and off when it receives a redstone pulse, without requiring continuous power to stay lit.

In its exposed state, the bulb shows light green oxidation patches and emits a light level lower than 15 when activated. Like all copper bulbs, it can be scraped with an axe or struck by lightning to revert to a less oxidized state, or it can be waxed with honeycomb to prevent further oxidation.

Exposed copper bulbs are commonly used in builds that blend utility and aged aesthetics, offering both functional lighting and a weathered appearance. They can also be paired with comparators to output a signal of 15 when lit, making them useful for redstone memory and toggle circuits.
