Exposed Copper Grate
Exposed Copper Grate is the first oxidized stage of the copper grate block, showing light tarnishing with small greenish spots starting to form across its surface. It retains the same perforated design as the base copper grate, offering partial transparency and unique decorative potential.
Like all copper grates, it does not conduct redstone, cannot host mob spawns, and allows both smoke and light to pass through. It can be waterlogged, and adjacent copper grates with matching oxidation and wax status become visually seamless when viewed through each other.
Exposed copper grates can be crafted from exposed copper blocks via a crafting table or stonecutter. To prevent further oxidation, they can be waxed with a honeycomb. Players can also reverse oxidation using an axe or lightning. This variant is often used for industrial or weathered aesthetics in builds.
