Medium Amethyst Bud is the second growth stage of an Amethyst Cluster, naturally generating on Budding Amethyst within amethyst geodes. Over time, it grows into a Large Amethyst Bud before reaching its final stage as an Amethyst Cluster, which drops Amethyst Shards when mined.
Medium Amethyst Buds emit a light level of 2 and can be placed decoratively on solid blocks with a full surface. They produce a distinct crystalline sound when interacted with or hit by projectiles.
