Muddy Mangrove Roots are a decorative variant of mangrove roots, featuring dirt-like properties. They naturally generate in mangrove swamps where mud blocks intersect with regular mangrove roots at the base of mangrove trees. These roots can also be found in some entrance rooms of trial chambers.
Muddy mangrove roots can be broken by hand, but using a shovel speeds up the process. They drop themselves when broken with any tool. When a mangrove propagule grows into a tree, any intersecting mud blocks are converted into muddy mangrove roots. These roots are primarily used for decoration and can be oriented to face different directions. They also serve as a surface for farming saplings, sugar cane, sweet berries, and bamboo.
