It serves as a sloped block for smooth elevation transitions and can be mined fastest using a pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing.

Nether Brick Stairs naturally generate in Nether fortresses. They can be crafted using Nether Bricks or obtained through stonecutting. Additionally, they can be placed under a note block to produce a bass drum sound.
