Polished Basalt is a refined variant of basalt, used primarily as a decorative block. It is crafted by combining four basalt blocks or obtained through stonecutting. Naturally, it generates in ancient cities and bastion remnants.
It has the same hardness as basalt and aligns perpendicular to the block face it is placed on. Unlike other polished stone variants, it does not have further crafting applications. When placed under a note block, it produces a 'bass drum' sound.
