Red Glazed Terracotta

Red Glazed Terracotta is a decorative block known for its striking pattern and deep red color. It’s crafted by smelting Red Stained Terracotta in a furnace, which is made from regular terracotta and red dye. This block is favored for use in vibrant floors, mosaics, and artistic builds.

When placed, Red Glazed Terracotta rotates based on the direction the player is facing. Aligning multiple blocks in a 2×2 or larger square allows the texture to form a symmetrical, seamless pattern. It is fully solid and non-transparent, making it useful for both structural and decorative purposes.

It can generate naturally in trial chambers, especially in altar-like structures containing ominous vaults. Additionally, expert-level mason villagers have a chance to sell red glazed terracotta in exchange for emeralds.

Red glazed terracotta does not stick to slime or honey blocks, can be pushed by pistons, but cannot be pulled by sticky pistons. It can also be used with note blocks to produce a bass drum sound when placed underneath.
