Waxed Copper Grate
Waxed Copper Grate is a decorative, perforated copper block that retains its current oxidation state permanently. It has the same visual appearance as its unwaxed counterpart but is immune to further weathering, making it ideal for builders who want to preserve a specific copper look—such as the original, exposed, weathered, or oxidized stages.
Functionally, waxed copper grates are non-solid, semi-transparent, and do not conduct redstone. Mobs cannot spawn on them, and they allow smoke, light, and vision to pass through. When placed next to other waxed copper grates of the same oxidation stage, they form seamless connected patterns for clean architectural lines.
They are created by applying a honeycomb to any copper grate using the use key or dispenser. Alternatively, waxed copper grates can be crafted or stonecut directly from waxed copper blocks. This makes them perfect for builds that require stable coloration and consistent oxidation visuals over time.
