Waxed Weathered Copper is a preserved variant of weathered copper, created by applying honeycomb to prevent further oxidation. It maintains its greenish-brown weathered appearance without progressing to the oxidized stage.
This block does not generate naturally and must be crafted by waxing a weathered copper block. It can be mined with a stone pickaxe or better and is primarily used for decoration. Waxed weathered copper can also be stonecut into slabs, stairs, and chiseled copper but cannot be reverted into copper ingots. Using an axe removes the wax, allowing oxidation to continue.
