Weathered Copper Grate
Weathered Copper Grate is the second stage of oxidation for copper grates, featuring a greenish hue with more prominent tarnishing than the exposed variant. Its surface displays a blend of teal and brown spots, giving it an aged and corroded appearance ideal for rustic or ancient builds.
Functionally identical to other copper grate types, it is a decorative, semi-transparent block that does not conduct redstone, allows smoke and light to pass through, and prevents mob spawns on its surface. It can also be waterlogged, and seamlessly blends with adjacent copper grates sharing the same oxidation and wax status.
Weathered copper grates can be crafted from weathered copper blocks using a crafting table or stonecutter. They can be waxed with a honeycomb to halt further oxidation or scraped with an axe to revert to a less oxidized state. This block is particularly suited for abandoned, overgrown, or steampunk-inspired builds.
