End Rod

The End Rod is a light-emitting block that provides a unique lighting source with a sleek, modern design. It emits a light level of 14, making it slightly dimmer than Glowstone and Lanterns but still effective for mob-proofing and decoration. An End Rod is crafted using 1 Blaze Rod and 1 Popped Chorus Fruit in a 3×3 crafting grid. It also generates naturally in End Cities, where they are found attached to End City structures as decorative lighting.

An End Rod can be placed in any orientation, including upright, sideways, or hanging, making it a versatile lighting and design element. It is often used in modern builds, sci-fi themes, and decorative pathways. Unlike Torches, End Rods do not require a block to attach to and can stand freely when placed. An End Rod can be mined instantly by hand or with any tool. Unlike Lanterns, an End Rod does not require Iron Nuggets to craft, making it a useful alternative for sleek, stylish lighting in Minecraft builds.
