Green Candle
The Green Candle is a decorative light-emitting block crafted by combining a standard candle with green dye. Like all candles, it can be placed in clusters of up to four in a single block space, increasing the light level with each additional candle. A single candle emits light level 3, while four together emit a maximum of light level 12.
Green Candles must be manually lit using flint and steel, fire charges, or flaming projectiles. In Bedrock Edition, burning mobs or Fire Aspect weapons can also ignite candles. They can be extinguished by water, wind charges, or player interaction. Candles cannot be lit while waterlogged.
Candles can also be placed on cakes to create a candle cake, perfect for celebrations. A candle used this way acts as a singular lit candle and can be extinguished or retrieved by interacting with the cake. Green Candles may also be found rarely as loot in trail ruins' suspicious gravel. They’re ideal for mood lighting, atmospheric builds, or birthday setups within Minecraft.
