Lightning Rod

The Lightning Rod is a utility block that protects structures from lightning strikes by redirecting lightning to itself. It is crafted using 3 Copper Ingots in a 3×3 crafting grid and does not generate naturally, so it must be crafted by the player. When placed, the Lightning Rod attracts lightning during thunderstorms, preventing damage to nearby flammable blocks and reducing the risk of fire. It also serves as a visual indicator of lightning activity in the area.

A Lightning Rod can be mined with any tool, but axes break it the fastest. Unlike Redstone components or light sources, the Lightning Rod is primarily used for protecting builds from lightning-induced damage.
