Dead Brain Coral Fan
Dead Brain Coral Fan is the dead variant of Brain Coral Fan, formed when live coral fans are placed outside of water. It is one of five dead coral fan types, alongside Dead Tube, Fire, Bubble, and Horn Coral Fans.
Dead Brain Coral Fans can be mined instantly but can only be obtained with a Silk Touch tool. In Java Edition, a Silk Touch pickaxe is required, while in Bedrock Edition, any Silk Touch tool can be used. In Bedrock Edition, dead coral fans can naturally generate in coral reefs, but they do not appear naturally in Java Edition.
Once a coral fan dies, it cannot be revived. Dead Brain Coral Fans can be placed on the sides and top surfaces of blocks but not on the bottom. In Java Edition, pistons can move dead coral fans as long as they remain supported in their new position. They are mainly used for building and decoration.
