Red Mushroom Block is a solid block found in huge mushrooms, forming the cap of red mushrooms. It can be obtained using a Silk Touch tool and is primarily used for decoration and composting.
Red Mushroom Blocks can be placed on any solid surface and are unaffected by pistons. When broken without Silk Touch, they have a chance to drop red mushrooms. In Java Edition, breaking an adjacent block can reveal the internal pore texture. These blocks can be composted with an 85% chance to increase the compost level. They can also be placed under note blocks to produce a bass sound.
