Sculk Vein

Sculk Vein is a decorative and organic-looking block found in the deep dark biome or generated via sculk catalysts when a mob dies nearby. It functions like glow lichen in that it can be placed on any side of a solid block, including multiple sides at once, allowing for complex patterns and coverage.

It can only be harvested using a Silk Touch tool—otherwise, it drops nothing. Hoes break it the fastest, though any tool works due to its low hardness.

Sculk veins often appear around sculk blocks and sensors, adding a layered, spreading appearance to sculk growth. While they don’t emit light, they enhance the biome’s eerie aesthetic and are fully resistant to water and lava flow, making them a reliable decorative option for dark or corrupted-themed builds.
