Vault
Vault is a block found in trial chambers that dispenses loot when unlocked with a trial key. Each player can unlock a specific vault only once, but multiple players can unlock the same vault. Vaults cannot be obtained in Survival mode or moved by a piston.
Vaults are naturally generated in trial chambers on pedestals made of waxed cut copper blocks and slabs. When a player approaches, the vault becomes active and displays a rotating selection of possible rewards. If the player has not unlocked it before, orange particles appear, linking them to the vault.
Unlocking a vault with a trial key causes it to eject 2 to 5 stacks of loot, which may include emeralds, enchanted gear, arrows, or rare items like a Bolt Armor Trim or a Trident. After use, the vault becomes inactive for that player but remains accessible for others. Vaults track up to 128 players; once full, the earliest players are removed from the list, making vault rewards functionally renewable.
