Block of Redstone

The Block of Redstone is a solid block that provides a constant Redstone signal. It is commonly used as a power source in Redstone circuits and as a storage block for Redstone Dust. A Block of Redstone is crafted using 9 Redstone Dust in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player. It can also be broken back into 9 Redstone Dust, making it useful for compact Redstone storage.

Unlike Redstone Torches or Redstone Dust, a Block of Redstone provides an uninterrupted power source without requiring activation. It can power adjacent Redstone components, such as Pistons, Redstone Lamps, Powered Rails, and other Redstone devices. However, it cannot be toggled on or off without being moved by a Piston. A Block of Redstone can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest.
