Powered Rail

The Powered Rail is a special type of rail that increases or decreases the speed of Minecarts when powered by Redstone. It is essential for automated railway systems and high-speed transportation. A Powered Rail is crafted using 6 Gold Ingots, 1 Stick, and 1 Redstone Dust in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

To use a Powered Rail, the player must place it on a solid block. When powered by Redstone, it increases the speed of Minecarts traveling over it. When unpowered, it acts as a brake, slowing down and eventually stopping Minecarts. A continuous track of Powered Rails allows for fast and automated travel. A Powered Rail can be broken with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest.
