Redstone Lamp
The Redstone Lamp is a light-emitting block that can be toggled on and off using Redstone power. It provides the same light level as a Glowstone block but can be controlled with Redstone circuits. A Redstone Lamp is crafted using 1 Glowstone and 4 Redstone Dust in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.
A Redstone Lamp remains off by default and only lights up when powered by Redstone signals from levers, Redstone torches, Redstone blocks, pressure plates, or other Redstone components. It emits a light level of 15 when activated, the same as Glowstone, but does not provide constant lighting unless powered.
A Redstone Lamp can be used in hidden lighting systems, automated farms, Redstone contraptions, and other Redstone-based builds. Unlike Torches or Glowstone, it does not emit light unless activated, making it useful for controlled lighting setups. A Redstone Lamp can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest.
