Redstone Repeater

The Redstone Repeater is a Redstone component used to extend Redstone signals, introduce delays, and create logic circuits. It is commonly used in Redstone contraptions, timing mechanisms, and signal locking systems. A Redstone Repeater is crafted using 3 Stone, 2 Redstone Torches, and 1 Redstone Dust in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

When placed, a Redstone Repeater only accepts power from the back and outputs it from the front, ensuring one-way signal flow. It extends Redstone signals up to 15 blocks, preventing signal loss in long circuits. The delay setting can be adjusted by tapping on the repeater. It has four delay settings, ranging from 1 tick (0.05 seconds) to 4 ticks (0.2 seconds). This makes it useful for timing mechanisms and pulse extensions.

A Redstone Repeater can also lock other repeaters by sending a signal from the side, preventing the locked repeater from changing its state. This feature is useful in complex Redstone circuits and memory storage designs. A Redstone Repeater can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest. Unlike a Redstone Comparator, it does not measure block states but is essential for signal boosting, delays, and circuit control.
