Redstone Torch

The Redstone Torch is a block that provides a constant redstone signal and is commonly used in redstone circuits as a power source or signal inverter. Redstone Torch is crafted using 1 stick and 1 redstone dust in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

When placed, Redstone Torch emits a redstone signal that powers adjacent blocks and redstone components such as redstone dust, repeaters, and pistons. It can also be used as a signal inverter when placed beneath a solid block that has redstone power, turning it off when the block is powered and on when the block is unpowered. Redstone Torch can be broken instantly by hand or with any tool.
