Salmon

The Salmon is a passive aquatic mob found in rivers, oceans, and frozen oceans. It is a common food source and can be caught using a fishing rod or captured in a water bucket for transport. Salmon drops 1 raw salmon (or cooked salmon if killed with fire), bones, and 1–3 experience when killed.

Salmon cannot be bred, but it can be caught with a water bucket and placed in custom aquariums or fish farms. Salmon swims in schools, moving in random patterns, and jumps above water occasionally. It is hunted by polar bears and axolotls, making it a key part of the aquatic food chain. When placed on land, Salmon flops around for a few seconds before suffocating.
