Light Grey Candle

The Light Grey Candle is a light-emitting block used for decorative lighting and atmospheric builds. A single Light Grey Candle emits a light level of 3, but up to four Candles can be placed in one block space, increasing the light level up to 12. A Light Grey Candle is crafted using 1 Candle and 1 Light Gray Dye in a 3×3 crafting grid. It can also be obtained by placing an undyed Candle and dyeing it with Light Gray Dye. Like all candles, it does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

A Light Grey Candle must be lit using Flint and Steel or Fire Charges and will remain lit until broken or extinguished by water. It can be placed on solid blocks and on top of uneaten cakes, making it useful for birthday cakes and celebrations. Unlike Lanterns or Torches, Light Grey Candle does not emit a high light level and is mainly used for ambient lighting rather than mob-proofing.

A Light Grey Candle can be mined instantly by hand or with any tool. Unlike Glowstone or Lanterns, a Light Grey Candle provides customizable and aesthetic lighting rather than practical illumination, making it ideal for detailed interior and exterior decoration.
