Crimson Button

The Crimson Button is a Redstone component that provides a temporary Redstone signal when pressed. It functions identically to other wooden buttons but is made from crimson wood. Crimson Button is crafted using 1 Crimson Plank in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

When placed, Crimson Button can be pressed by tapping on it. It emits a Redstone signal for 1.5 seconds (15 game ticks) before deactivating automatically. Unlike a Lever, it does not stay powered and must be pressed again to reactivate. Crimson Button can be placed on the top, side, or bottom of solid blocks. It can be broken instantly by hand or with any tool. Unlike a Stone Button, Crimson Button has a longer activation time, making it useful for Redstone devices that require slightly extended pulses.
