Jack o'Lantern

The Jack o'Lantern is a solid light-emitting block that provides a high light level and can be used to build golems. It is crafted by combining a Carved Pumpkin with a Torch and does not generate naturally in most biomes, except in taiga and snowy taiga villages in Bedrock Edition.

Jack o'Lantern emits a light level of 15, making it brighter than torches. It can be placed underwater without losing its brightness and will melt nearby snow and ice. Unlike regular pumpkins, it can be placed without support and automatically faces the player when placed.

Jack o'Lantern is required to build Snow Golems and Iron Golems, just like carved pumpkins. The Jack o'Lantern must be placed last when constructing a golem, or it will not spawn. Although Jack o'Lantern appears transparent, it behaves as a solid block—mobs can spawn on it, and it can be used to attach blocks like rails and torches.
