Lily of the Valley is a flower found in forests, flower forests, birch forests, and dark forests and can be used to craft white dye. Lily of the Valley can be mined instantly with any tool and drops itself when broken. It generates naturally on grass and dirt blocks and appears in flower forests as part of the flower gradient system.

In Java Edition, applying bone meal to a grass block in a flower forest has a chance to generate Lily of the Valley. In Bedrock Edition, bone meal can also be applied to Lily of the Valley to spread more nearby.

Lily of the Valley can be used to craft Suspicious Stew, which grants a Poison effect when consumed. It can also be placed in flower pots for decoration. Bees pollinate Lily of the Valley, increasing the honey level in beehives and nests. Additionally, oak, birch, and cherry trees grown near Lily of the Valley have a 5% chance to spawn with a bee nest containing bees. Lily of the Valley can be composted with a 65% chance to increase the compost level. It is sometimes sold by wandering traders for one emerald.
