Mushroom Stem

Mushroom Stem is a solid block that forms the trunk of huge mushrooms. It can be obtained using a Silk Touch tool and is primarily used for decoration and composting.

Mushroom Stem can be placed on any solid surface and is unaffected by pistons. When broken without Silk Touch, it does not drop mushrooms. In Java Edition, breaking an adjacent block can reveal the internal pore texture. This block can be composted with a 65% chance to increase the compost level. It can also be placed under note blocks to produce a bass sound.
