Pitcher Plant
Pitcher Plant is a tall flower that grows from a Pitcher Pod and can be used to craft cyan dye. Unlike other flowers, Pitcher Plant does not generate naturally and must be grown from a Pitcher Pod. Once fully grown, breaking the plant drops one Pitcher Plant. Bone meal cannot be used to duplicate it like other tall flowers.
Pitcher Plant can be mined instantly with any tool and drops itself when broken. It can be placed on grass, dirt, coarse dirt, farmland, podzol, mycelium, moss, mud, and muddy mangrove roots, but cannot be placed in flower pots. Bees recognize player-placed Pitcher Plant as a flower and will pollinate it, increasing honey levels in beehives and bee nests. However, bees ignore fully grown Pitcher Crops.
Pitcher Plant can be used to breed, grow, and lead bees. Additionally, oak, birch, and cherry trees grown near Pitcher Plant have a 5% chance to spawn with a bee nest containing bees. Pitcher Plant can be composted with an 85% chance to increase the compost level, making it one of the most efficient flowers for composting.
