Red Tulip
Red Tulip is a flower found in plains and flower forests and can be used to craft red dye. It is one of four tulip variants, alongside orange, pink, and white tulips. Red Tulip can be mined instantly with any tool and drop themselves when broken. They generate in specific tulip-only areas within plains and sunflower plains and appear in flower forests as part of the flower gradient system. Potted red and white tulips can also be found in woodland mansions.
In Java Edition, applying bone meal to a grass block in specific biomes has a chance to generate Red Tulip. In Bedrock Edition, bone meal can also be applied directly to a Red Tulip to grow more nearby.
Red Tulip can be used to craft Suspicious Stew, which grants a Weakness effect when consumed. They can also be placed in flower pots for decoration. Bees pollinate Red Tulip, increasing the honey level in beehives and nests. Additionally, oak, birch, and cherry trees grown near Red Tulip have a 5% chance to spawn with a bee nest containing bees. Red Tulip can be composted with a 65% chance to increase the compost level. They are sometimes sold by wandering traders for one emerald.
