Snow
Snow is a thin ground cover found in snowy biomes, accumulating during snowfall. It can be mined with a shovel, dropping snowballs, or collected with a Silk Touch shovel to obtain itself.
Snow naturally generates in cold biomes and on structures in snowy villages. They melt when exposed to block light level 12 or higher, except in Bedrock Edition, where they also melt in dry biomes. In Java Edition, Snow breaks when their supporting block is removed, while in Bedrock Edition, they fall like sand.
