Squid

The Squid is a passive aquatic mob that spawns naturally in rivers and oceans. It moves freely through the water and does not attack the player. The Squid drops 1–3 ink sacs when killed, which can be used for crafting black dye and books and quills. It also drops 1–3 experience upon death. The Squid cannot be bred and does not produce any additional resources like eggs or milk. It spawns in groups and despawns naturally if moved too far from its spawning area.

The Squid is a passive mob and does not attack the player. If attacked, it will spray ink particles and attempt to flee in a random direction. It can swim in all directions but struggles outside of water, where it suffocates if left on land for too long. The Squid can be attached to a lead, allowing players to transport it if needed.
