Poisonous Potato

Poisonous potatoes are a rare food item obtained when harvesting potato crops. They have a small chance of dropping instead of regular potatoes and cannot be intentionally farmed.

Eating a poisonous potato restores two hunger points but has a 60% chance to inflict the Poison effect for five seconds, making them a risky and unreliable food source. Unlike regular potatoes, they cannot be cooked into baked potatoes or used for trading.

Poisonous potatoes have no practical use beyond eating for a challenge, disposing of them, or collecting them as a novelty item. Despite their name, they do not poison animals and cannot be used in brewing or crafting.
