Firework Rocket

Firework Rocket is a utility item in Minecraft used for both decorative explosions and Elytra boosting. It is crafted using paper and gunpowder, with optional firework stars to create colorful explosion effects. Firework Rockets are commonly used for Elytra travel, as activating them while gliding provides a significant speed boost, allowing players to cover long distances efficiently.

When crafted with firework stars, they explode into different colors and patterns, making them ideal for celebrations and custom firework displays. Rockets can also be loaded into a crossbow and fired as ammunition, dealing explosive area damage if crafted with firework stars. A basic Firework Rocket is crafted with 1 paper and 1 gunpowder, but adding up to 3 gunpowder increases flight duration. Adding firework stars changes the explosion effect, determining the color and type of display. Firework Rockets without firework stars do not explode and are best suited for Elytra boosting to avoid unintended damage.
