Raw Gold

Raw gold is an ore item obtained by mining gold ore or deepslate gold ore without a Silk Touch pickaxe. It can also be found in chests inside structures such as bastion remnants, mineshafts, and ruined portals. When mined, raw gold drops one piece per block, though using a pickaxe enchanted with Fortune increases the yield.

Raw gold is primarily used to be smelted into gold ingots in a furnace or blast furnace, which are essential for crafting golden tools, armor, powered rails, golden apples, and more. It can also be crafted into raw gold blocks, which serve as compact storage.

Due to its multiple uses in crafting, trading with piglins, and enchanting-related items, raw gold is a valuable resource for both survival and automation, especially in Nether gold farms.
