Pitcher pods are a unique crop item used to grow pitcher plants, a rare decorative plant in Minecraft. They can be obtained by sniffers digging them up from the ground, making them exclusive to players who have bred or found sniffers.

Pitcher pods are planted on tilled farmland and go through five growth stages before fully maturing into a pitcher plant. Applying bone meal speeds up the growth process. Unlike traditional crops, pitcher plants are not edible and are primarily used for decoration and crafting cyan dye.
