Lead

A lead is an item crafted from string and a slimeball, primarily used to leash and guide passive mobs. It can be attached to animals such as horses, llamas, and bees, allowing players to move them without a saddle. Leads can also be tied to fences, preventing the attached mob from wandering away. They can be found in woodland mansion chests, generated in some villages, or obtained by breaking a wandering trader’s leads when their llamas are detached. Due to their versatility, leads are useful for transporting and organizing mobs.
