Bogged
Bogged is a moss-covered skeleton variant that spawns in swamps and mangrove swamps. It behaves similarly to skeletons but shoots tipped arrows of Poison at a slower rate. Its distinct appearance, covered in moss and mushrooms, makes it stand out from other undead mobs.
Bogged drops 0–2 bones and 0–2 arrows upon death, with the Looting enchantment increasing the amount. It also has a 50% chance (up to 93.75% with Looting III) to drop 1 Arrow of Poison, making it a renewable source of poisoned arrows. If killed by a player, it drops 5 experience.
Bogged cannot be bred and spawns naturally in swamps and mangrove swamps. Unlike skeletons, bogged do not burn in daylight, making them a persistent threat in their spawning biomes. If a player shears a bogged, it drops 2 mushrooms instead of its usual loot, making it a unique source of mushrooms.
Bogged are hostile mobs that attack from a distance using poisoned arrows. Their slower attack rate compared to skeletons gives players more time to react, but the Poison effect makes them extremely dangerous over time. Unlike skeletons, they do not burn in sunlight, allowing them to remain a threat throughout the day. Their Poison arrows can weaken players significantly, making swamp biomes more challenging for unprepared adventurers.
